Bruno Gauthier >IS< Lady B
Electric artist, militant, inspired, always.
Enfant de la techno de Détroit et de la House Music de Chicago, il a été adopté depuis 15 ans par les plus grands. C’est le label Français F Communications qui lui signe son premier disque. Puis Internationnal Dj Gigolo, Boys Noise, Citizen records, Good Life, et Curfew suivront.
Au début des années 90, il imagine un concept « Le Barbarella» symbiose de design, art de la table et musique électronique qui ouvrira à Cannes et quelques années plus tard à Barcelone. Cette période est aussi marquée par la collaboration avec le directeur artistique de Reed Midem en poste, Bernard Batzen, qui donne naissance aux premières soirées officielles électroniques du Midem de Cannes.
Le nouveau millénaire débute par la direction artistique d’un nouveau club Azuréen et surtout la création de Musique Moderne, puis d’une sous division, Interférences. Son expérience dans la production lui permet de porter de jeunes artistes lors de leurs premiers pas dans le monde de la musique.
A l’aube de la 2ème décennie, il entame un nouveau projet musical dont le premier est une collaboration avec l’auteur/interprète Magda Zagba, et sera signé par Luke Solomon et Derrick Carter sur Classic Recordings.

For the past 15 years, this child of Detroit techno and Chicago House has been the protégé of the biggest names. The French label F Communications was the first one to get Lady B signed. Then International Dj Gigolo, Boys Noise, Curfew, Citizen Records, Good Life,… all came along.
At the dawn of the 90’s, he opened “Le Barbarella”, a clever concept mixing design with culinary pleasures and electronic music, first in Cannes (French Riviera), then in Barcelona a few years later. This Period was also marked by a collaboration with Midem Artistic Director : the 1rst official electronic parties of the famous french congress Midem in Cannes was born.
With the new millenium came an A&R of the 1rst Underground Dance Music club in Nice (French Riviera). Few years later Musique Moderne was created, followed by its little sister, Interférences. Bruno makes the most of his experience in music production to help launch the career of young upcoming artists.
By the end of this first decade, he starts a new musical project under his real name : Bruno Gauthier. The first is a vocal one in collaboration with the singer/song writer Magda Zagba and was signed by Luke Solomon and Derrick Carter for Classics Rec.
